Case Converter

Convert text to UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, or Sentence case

Converts text between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, and Sentence case with one click, plus a copy button to grab the result.

How it works

Each button transforms whatever is currently in the text box and replaces it in place — there's no separate before/after view. Title Case capitalizes the first letter of every word; Sentence case lowercases everything first, then capitalizes the very first letter and the first letter after any ./!/? followed by a space.

Frequently asked questions

Does clicking a button show a preview, or does it change my text directly?

It changes the text in the box directly and immediately — there's no separate preview, so you can click through different cases and see each result in place, or keep editing from wherever you land.

Can I convert only part of my text, not all of it?

No — each mode transforms the entire contents of the text box. Select and copy out just the part you need afterward if you only want a portion converted.

How does Sentence case decide where sentences start?

It capitalizes the very first letter, plus the first letter after any period, exclamation point, or question mark that's followed by a space — so it can misfire on abbreviations like "Dr. Smith" or decimal numbers, which look like sentence breaks to a simple rule like this.

What does Title Case do with words like "of" or "the"?

It capitalizes every word without exception, including short connecting words — it doesn't apply the style-guide convention of leaving minor words lowercase.

Is my text sent anywhere when I convert or copy it?

No — the conversion runs entirely in your browser, and the copy button uses your browser's clipboard API directly. Nothing is uploaded.
