Image Resizer
Resize an image to exact pixel dimensions
Resizes an image to exact pixel dimensions you specify, with an optional aspect-ratio lock so width and height scale together automatically.
How it works
You enter a target width and/or height, and with the aspect-ratio lock on, changing one field automatically recalculates the other to preserve the original proportions. The browser then redraws the image at the new size using the Canvas API and lets you download the result.
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing distort my image?
Only if you turn off the aspect-ratio lock and enter dimensions that don't match the original proportions — with the lock on, width and height always stay proportional.
What's the size limit?
100MB for the file you upload.
Can I make an image larger, not just smaller?
Yes, you can enter dimensions larger than the original, though enlarging a photo beyond its original resolution will make it look softer, since there's no extra detail to invent.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No — the resize happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API.
What format does the output come out as?
The same format as what you uploaded — a JPG in gives you a resized JPG out, and likewise for PNG and WebP.
